June 16, 2023 | Messianic World Update | US/Iran agreement, Bidens bribed & more

Shalom, everyone. Thank you for engaging with us on our Messianic World Update blog. Here are the headlines of today’s post: These include alleged bribery crimes by Joe Biden, an informal agreement between the US and Iran, Israel's new hypersonic interceptor missile, China's strategic partnership with the Palestinians, and the bill before the Knesset to partition the Temple Mount. Now, let’s get into it.

First, there are allegations of bribery against Joe Biden by foreign nations. Congress is investigating financial transactions between foreign governments and the Biden family, but the FBI appears to be stonewalling their efforts. According to recent reports, the FBI has a document alleging these bribery schemes, but Congress has been denied access to it. This situation has opened questions about corruption in the executive branch of the US government.

Next, the Joe Biden administration has decided to start indirect talks with Iran, leading to an informal, unwritten agreement between the US and Iran. According to this agreement, Iran would stop enrichment at 60%, no longer attack US forces in Iraq and Syria, and accept additional IAEA inspectors to observe their nuclear program. In return, the US would reduce certain sanctions against Iran and stop selling drones to Russia. However, this informal agreement is unlikely to mean much, given the allegations of bribery against Joe Biden and the Ayatollah Khomeini's reputation.

Israel has recently announced its development of a new hypersonic interceptor missile that can shoot down maneuverable hypersonic missiles, such as the one Iran claims to have built. This new technology is a major step in Israel's defense systems, and it showcases their ongoing efforts to protect themselves from harm.

Meanwhile, the Palestinians are frustrated with the US and their dealings with Israel, so they have decided to reach out to China. China has recently proposed an international forum that would establish a Palestinian state on the pre-1967 borders, which is unlikely to succeed. This situation adds to the confusion surrounding the two-state solution and how to deal with the Palestinian problem.

Lastly, the Knesset has been presented with a bill to partition the Temple Mount, which would give the Jews a piece of the Temple Mount. While this bill is unlikely to gain much support, it is intriguing for those who watch Bible prophecy closely.

Brethren, we must pray for our country and Israel during these difficult times.
