November 26, 2025 | Messianic World Update | Israel’s Strategic Beirut Strike, Hostage Updates & Rising Middle East Tensions
Shalom, everyone, I’m Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries, bringing you the latest Messianic World Update. Today’s date is Wednesday, November 26th, 2025.
As we come into the Thanksgiving weekend here in America, I want to take a moment to reflect on the events unfolding across Israel and the Middle East, and to do so from a conservative Messianic perspective—one grounded in Scripture, sobriety, and the prophetic patterns we have watched for decades. This week brought significant developments that once again remind us that the spiritual war described by the prophets is alive and well in our world today.
A Precision Strike in Beirut
This past Sunday, Israel carried out an incredibly precise and daring airstrike in downtown Beirut. Using small ordnance to avoid civilian casualties, the strike targeted and eliminated the number-two Hezbollah leader—the effective chief-of-staff responsible for coordinating Hezbollah’s military activities in southern Lebanon.
This mirrors previous high-tech Israeli operations, including the famous strike in Tehran that locked onto a Hamas leader’s cell phone. While we do not yet know the exact technology used in Beirut, Israel’s intention is clear: remove the leadership of terror organizations to weaken the entire structure—cut the head off the snake, as the saying goes.
Israel now waits for retaliation. And with Iran deeply invested in supporting Hezbollah, any response may involve multiple fronts.
Hostages, Tragedy, and Terrorist Factions
The Palestinian Liberation Jihad Organization (PLJ)—not Hamas, but an even more radical group—returned the body of Israeli hostage Dror Or. He was a father, a husband, and a cheesemaker. His wife was murdered on October 7th, and though his children were eventually released, they are now fully orphaned.
Two more hostage bodies remain in Gaza. And while the world speaks the language of diplomacy, we must remember: these were innocent Israelis murdered by Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists.
Hamas continues to rearm and openly pledges never to disarm—even as the UN, Egypt, Qatar, and the U.S. attempt to move phase two of the peace agreement forward. This defiance is part of a spiritual and ideological war far deeper than political negotiations.
Clash in Rafah and the Illusion of “Cease Fire”
In Rafah, IDF soldiers killed five terrorists who emerged from underground bunkers. Though Israel has pulled back to the “yellow line” under cease-fire terms, Hamas continues to attack. Israel responds when fired upon, and rightfully so.
The world may call it a cease-fire, but in reality it is anything but. Evil does not honor cease-fires—only the righteous do.
Settler Tensions in Gush Etzion
Last week’s violent clashes between Jewish settlers and Palestinians led the Jewish residents of Gush Etzion to call for an end to retaliatory attacks. They rightly insist that justice belongs to the government, not individuals acting out of anger. While frustration is understandable, especially when communities feel unprotected, the Torah warns us that vengeance belongs to the Lord.
Ultra-Orthodox Conflict Over IDF Service
Tensions rose sharply as Israeli police attempted to arrest Haredi draft dodgers. Crowds of yeshiva students attacked the officers, flipped a police vehicle, and forced retreat until reinforcements arrived.
A major political showdown is forming around this issue. The majority of Israelis believe all citizens—including yeshiva students—should serve in the IDF. This will undoubtedly be a major factor in next year’s elections.
The Muslim Brotherhood and Qatar Under Scrutiny
In the United States, the federal government has begun taking steps toward designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist group—though the process is complicated.
Texas, however, took decisive action, banning the Muslim Brotherhood and any organization attempting to promote Sharia law. This bold stance is encouraging for those who understand that ideological warfare is as real as physical conflict.
At the same time, America continues using Qatar as a diplomatic partner, even though Qatar is the largest supporter of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. This contradiction highlights the challenge of navigating alliances in the Middle East.
F-35 Sales to Saudi Arabia Raise Alarm
President Trump agreed to sell F-35 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia. Israel immediately expressed concern, as U.S. policy has long guaranteed Israel’s technological advantage in the region.
Secretary of State Rubio assured Israel the Saudi aircraft would be downgraded. But historically, even U.S. allies can shift rapidly—as seen when pre-revolution Iran went from receiving American F-14s to becoming one of America’s greatest adversaries.
Israel is right to be cautious. Advanced weapons in unstable or rapidly shifting governments can become threats overnight.
A Call to Prayer and Thanksgiving
As we enter the Thanksgiving holiday, I encourage all believers to lift our nation in prayer. We have much to be thankful for, yet we also see the challenges facing America and Israel. May we be faithful watchmen on the wall, praying without ceasing for the peace of Jerusalem and the preservation of righteousness in our own land.
Thank you for watching, for supporting Lion and Lamb Ministries, and for standing with us as we continue delivering Biblically grounded insights into today’s prophetic events.
Shabbat Shalom to all of you
