May 23, 2025 | Messianic World Update | Iran Nuclear Tensions Rise as Israel Prepares for Potential Strik

Shalom, everyone, I'm Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries, bringing you the latest Messianic World Update. Today's date is May 23rd, 2025. 

The situation with Iran continues to escalate as the U.S. engages in their fifth round of negotiations in Rome, while Israeli intelligence suggests preparations for potential military action against Iranian nuclear facilities.

The U.S. administration maintains a diplomatic approach, but Iran's continued uranium enrichment beyond civilian needs and their documented nuclear weapons program - revealed through Israel's capture of their archives - paint a concerning picture. U.S. intel indicates they now possess enough material for multiple nuclear weapons.

Meanwhile, Operation Gideon's Chariots progresses in Gaza, with IDF forces systematically dismantling Hamas infrastructure and eliminating terrorist threats. Despite international pressure and false claims of genocide, Israel continues its necessary mission to ensure security for its citizens while facilitating humanitarian aid.

In Washington D.C., we witnessed a tragic anti-Semitic attack resulting in the deaths of two staff members from the Israeli Embassy. The couple attended a fundraiser for humanitarian aid to Gaza at the Jewish Museum in Washington D.C. As they exited the event, the gunman approached them, firing 21 rounds of ammunition directly at them. He reloaded his weapon, walked up to the couple, now on the ground, and shot them multiple times, again, at point blank range. 

The young man who was killed was an Israeli citizen, while the young lady was an American citizen from Kansas. The young man planned to propose to her next week in Jerusalem. We are saddened by the loss of this beautiful couple and the loss of the future they would have had together. This incident highlights the growing concern of Hamas sympathizers within our own borders.

In an update from Samaria, the Palestinian man who opened fire on a car carrying a husband and wife on their way to the hospital to deliver their fourth child, was eliminated by Israeli security forces there. The mother died at the hospital, the father survived with light injuries. The baby was delivered and is doing well. Pray for this family and all families suffering from the anti-Semitic violence going on around the world.

We are in the days that the Prophets of Israel spoke of; the very issues we are talking about, the hatred of life, the hatred of God, godlessness - that’s what’s going on. This is what the prophets said would be happening. It’s another evidence that we are the last generation, my friends, and we better start paying attention to the other things the Lord has to say about the days that we’re living in. As believers, we must remain vigilant in prayer for Israel and recognize these events as prophetic signs of the times.
