September 19, 2025 | Messianic World Update | Charlie Kirk Assassination, Gaza Conflict, Israel Protests

Shalom, everyone, I’m Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries, bringing you the latest Messianic World Update. Today’s date is Friday, September 19, 2025.

This week, we are witnessing a sobering moment in America and Israel that reminds us of the times in which we live.

It has now been more than a week since the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk in Utah. His funeral will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, where an entire football stadium has been secured to accommodate the many thousands who want to pay their respects. President Trump, Vice President Vance, and numerous other dignitaries are expected to attend. This event is more than a funeral; it is a statement about the cultural and political battle lines in our nation. As Messianic believers, we recognize the significance of such upheaval. We are reminded in Romans 1:28-29, “And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice;...” Yeshua warned us that perilous times would come.

Meanwhile, in Israel, the IDF is engaged in a major operation in Gaza City. This follows continued rocket attacks and escalating violence. The military campaign, Operation Gideon’s Chariots II,  is designed to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and protect Israeli citizens, though it comes at a high cost and in the midst of global criticism. We must pray for Israel’s safety and the restoration of true shalom in the Land. Scripture makes it clear that Israel will always be at the center of the world’s attention, and current events affirm prophecy before our eyes.

Hostage negotiator liaisons are trying one more time to revive negotiations between Israel and Hamas. It does not look likely. In the midst of this, however, comes a new report from a former Syrian parliament leader that Qatari leaders knew about the October 7th attack on southern Israel before it happened. They also gave luxuriant refuge to the leadership of Hamas for years. Why does the U.S. continue to call Qatar an ally?

At the same time, protests by the hostages’ families are erupting throughout Israel. Families and citizens are pressuring Prime Minister Netanyahu to do more for those still held captive. This has created significant political tension. While many look to human leaders for solutions, we, as believers, know the ultimate Deliverer is the Messiah Himself. These events remind us that Israel’s redemption is tied, not to politics, but to the coming of the Kingdom.

My friends, we are living in a time when biblical prophecy is unfolding rapidly. From turmoil in the nations, to the ongoing struggles of Israel, all of this points us back to our need to remain steadfast in faith and grounded in God’s Word. We must lift up our prayers for Israel, for America, and for all who are suffering in these tumultuous days.

Shabbat Shalom to all of you.
