November 17th, 2023 | Messianic World Update | Updates on Israel-Hamas Conflict and Global Impact

Shalom, everyone. I’m Monte Judah, and welcome to another edition of Messianic World Update.

This week, I want to talk about the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. It has been weeks since the war started, and there seems to be no ceasefire in sight. It is heartbreaking to see the families of hostages still waiting to know the fate of their loved ones.

The conflict has also brought to light the rising threat of anti-Semitism worldwide. It is appalling to see how many people support Hamas and the Palestinians' attack on Israel. Those people have been fed propaganda, and they refuse to seek the truth or educate themselves.

In the United States, we saw a massive pro-Israel rally in Washington, DC, to counter a previous pro-Palestinian rally. Unfortunately, I don't think that rally will change the opinions of those who believe Israel is occupying Palestinian lands. It is willful ignorance on their part to ignore world history and recent history in the region.

Israel has been accused of committing war crimes, but in reality, it is Hamas who has committed war crimes. They have attacked civilians and taken hostages, and they have even built complexes and fortresses beneath hospitals. It is a war of elimination for Hamas, wanting to kill all the Jews.

Israel has been doing everything they can to protect themselves, and they have been able to penetrate Hamas headquarters, find hostages and weapons, and uncover tunnels. They have been pursuing Yahya Sinwar, one of the founders of Hamas. Benny Gantz, a member of the Israeli War Cabinet, has made it clear that Israel is committed to killing Hamas leaders, wherever in the world they may be.

In addition to the conflict with Hamas, Israel is also facing threats from Iran. There is a possibility of a regional war coming, and I believe Iran and Hezbollah will get involved. It is just a matter of time.

On a different note, President Biden recently met with Chinese President Xi in San Francisco. One notable outcome of the meeting was the positive impact it had on San Francisco itself. The city decided to take measures to clean up its streets, making it a more pleasant and sanitary place to be.

However, the nature of the meeting between President Biden and President Xi raised some concerns. Reports suggest that President Xi dominated the conversation, with about 75% of the time spent with him dictating terms and only 25% with President Biden expressing general statements and making simple requests. This has led to speculation about the influence China may have over President Biden, especially considering allegations of bribery involving Chinese sources.

While Chinese media and some liberal sources in the United States praised the meeting as a great success, questions have been raised about the specifics of the discussions and the commitments made by China. The lack of firm commitments and the imbalance of power in the meeting have raised concerns about the direction of US-China relations.

In a surprising turn, President Biden mentioned the prospects of Governor Newsom potentially stepping in ”to do his job next,” which has led to speculation about a close cooperation between them regarding the Chinese meeting. It was also noted that Governor Newsom of California also made a special trip to Israel, further highlighting the significance of the meeting. Some even suggest that Governor Newsom could be a potential Democratic candidate for the next presidential election.

It is important to remember the challenges faced by Israel and to pray for the release of hostages. The current state of affairs is a result of the world's decision to forget God and lose sight of right and wrong.

In conclusion, I want to highlight the potential implications of the meeting between President Biden and President Xi, raising questions about US-China relations and the influence China may have over the Biden administration.

Please join in prayer for Israel and for wisdom in these challenging times.

Shabbat Shalom.
