November 15th, 2024 | Messianic World Update | Trump's Pro-Israel Cabinet Nominations Shake Up Middle East Politics

Shalom, everyone, I'm Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries, bringing you the latest Messianic World Update. Today's date is Friday, November 15th of the year 2024.

In our most recent episode, we discussed several significant developments that are shaping the political landscape and impacting Israel. President-elect Donald Trump has been making waves with his cabinet nominations, assembling what appears to be the most pro-Israel U.S. government in history.

Among the notable nominations are Mike Huckabee as U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services, and Marco Rubio as Secretary of State. These appointments, along with others, signal a strong shift towards policies that favor Israel and its interests.

We also touched on the ongoing situation in the Middle East. Iran has delayed its military response to Israel's recent strikes, while Israel has increased aid to Gaza under pressure from the Biden administration. A ceasefire proposal has been submitted to Lebanon, aiming to bring peace between Israel and Hezbollah, possibly within the next 60 days.

Of great concern is the rise in worldwide anti-Semitic attacks. In Amsterdam last week, Israeli citizens were attacked after leaving a soccer match. Many were grievously hurt, and it took Dutch authorities some time before they were able to apprehend the perpetrators. Subsequently, there were further attacks against Israeli soccer fans as they were in Belgium, Paris, and Italy for the world tournament. One observer in the Netherlands posted on social media: “I can’t believe it’s 2024, and Jews are hiding in the attics of Amsterdam!” As believers, we must remain vigilant and prayerful during these challenging times.

The potential changes in U.S. foreign policy under a Trump administration could significantly impact the Middle East. We may see increased economic pressure on Iran and stronger support for Israel in its conflicts with Hamas and other regional adversaries.

As we observe these events unfolding, let us remember that our hope is not in political leaders or earthly governments, but in the God of Israel. He continues to work out His plan for His people and the nations.

I encourage you to stay informed, pray for Israel, pray for the hostages to be released quickly, and pray for our incoming government that there would be a peaceful transfer of power. May we be faithful witnesses of God's love and truth in a world that desperately needs it.

Shabbat Shalom to all of you.
