November 22nd, 2024 | Messianic World Update | Ukraine-Russia Tensions Escalate as Nuclear Policies Shift

Shalom, everyone, I'm Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries, bringing you the latest Messianic World Update. Today's date is Friday, November 22nd of the year 2024, the 61st anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. There are several critical developments I want to share with you regarding the evolving global situation.

The tension between Ukraine and Russia has escalated significantly. With the Biden administration's permission, Ukraine has begun using long-range surface-to-surface missiles to strike targets within Russian territory. This decision came partly in response to Russia's incorporation of North Korean troops into the conflict.

In a concerning development, Putin has revised Russia's nuclear weapons doctrine, now stating they may use tactical nuclear weapons even without being attacked by nuclear weapons first. This represents a significant shift in nuclear policy. Furthermore, Russia launched an IRBM into Ukraine, though they wisely notified the US beforehand to prevent misinterpretation as a nuclear strike.

The situation with Poland has also become tense as the US deploys an anti-missile base near the Russian border. This strategic move has drawn criticism from Russia, which views it as a provocative action altering the nuclear deterrence equation.

In the Middle East, the International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, a move that Israel, not being part of the ICC, has chosen to ignore. The US views these ICC actions as disruptive to international relations and is considering sanctions against the ICC leadership.

Regarding Israel's ongoing conflicts, there's potential progress in the Hezbollah situation, with a US-proposed ceasefire under consideration. However, UNIFIL's effectiveness has been questioned, as they failed to prevent Hezbollah from establishing positions near Israel's border.

The hostage negotiations in Gaza remain stalled, with Hamas demanding withdrawal from certain areas while Israel maintains its position on controlling access to Gaza. The incoming Trump administration, particularly with Mike Huckabee as the new Ambassador to Israel, is expected to bring significant changes to US-Israel relations.
