April 12, 2024 | Messianic World Update | Potential Impacts of Iran-Israel Conflict & U.S. Foreign Policy
Shalom! This is Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries. Today’s date is April 12th of the year 2024. Here is today’s Messianic World Update.
As the world stands on the precipice of escalating global tension, many of us find ourselves captivated by the unfolding developments in Iran and Israel. The situation is volatile and teetering on the brink of a serious conflict. Iran, with the support of Russia and China, is flexing its muscles, casting a shadow of apprehension over Israel, the U.S., and other Western countries.
Israel and Iran are both weighing their options as both continue the saber-rattling publically. Israel’s strategy is fourfold: take out Iranian and Hezbollah leaders, not weapons; counter cyber attacks; utilize all defense forces to the maximum capability; and protect their citizens from harm. Iran’s strategy is fivefold: get the US out of the Middle East; break the bond between the US and Israel; use proxies to do harm; protect itself by joining with Russia and China; and protect its nuclear capability at all costs.
Complicating the equation is the current U.S. administration's stance towards Israel. It's disconcerting to observe how the U.S. appears to be veering away from its traditionally supportive position towards its ally. The absence of a robust stance against the actions of Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran is a cause for concern. For example, many members of the Democratic party seem to be avid supporters of the Pro-Palestinian/Hamas cause. Alarmingly, the U.S. administration seems to be playing right into Iran's hands, aligning with their agenda to sever the strong bond between the U.S. and Israel.
The reverberations of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan have emboldened our adversaries and sparked the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The situation is dire, and the decisions made by the U.S. administration have undoubtedly contributed to the current state of affairs. The ripple effects of these actions are not confined to the Middle East, but have far-reaching global implications.
Adding to the concern, the Director of the FBI has warned that the U.S. could soon be facing terrorist attacks similar to the recent incident perpetrated in Moscow by the terror group, ISIS K. This horrifying prospect serves as a stark reminder of the potential global fallout from the current situation. It underscores the fact that the security of the homeland is intertwined with the stability of regions far from our shores.
Despite the looming clouds of uncertainty and fear, it is crucial for us to remember that we are people of faith. Our God commands us not to fear. True courage is not the absence of fear but the ability to press on in spite of it. Trusting in the Lord is our greatest weapon in times of uncertainty. Our faith is the anchor that keeps us steady amidst the stormy seas of global conflicts.
The situation may appear dire, but we must not forget - we know the end of the story. We have read the final pages of the book. We know that we will navigate through these trying times. The God of Israel is set to make His appearance soon to defend Israel, and we will get to witness His power and glory.
In the face of all this, I urge my brethren to stand firm in their faith and to pray for Israel, the hostages, and all the believers around the world. Let's remember to trust in the Lord and have courage. We live in exciting times, and I want to encourage you to stand strong. Let's continue to watch and pray. Let's continue to trust in His promises and draw strength from His word.
As we travel through these uncertain times, let us hold on to our faith, stand firm in our beliefs, and pray for peace. In the face of adversity, let us remember to trust in the Lord, have courage, and stay united in our faith. We live in exciting times, and I believe that through the trials and tribulations, we will emerge stronger.
Shabbat Shalom to all of you.
