April 15, 2024 | Messianic World Update | Iran's Attack on Israel: A Detailed Analysis
Shalom everyone! I’m Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries. Today’s date is April 15th of the year 2024. I’m coming to you today with a special update on Iran's Saturday night attack on Israel. The information I have is up-to-the-minute, with the most recent reports indicating that Iran launched 185 drones, along with 36 cruise missiles and 110 to 120 ballistic missiles. These missiles were launched directly from Iran towards Israel and detected almost instantly by our ground-based radars and satellites.
The missiles took only ten minutes to reach Israel, while the cruise missiles and drones took about an hour and four hours, respectively. This was a coordinated attack, planned to strike at the same time. As you can imagine, there were some very tense moments as Israeli citizens wondered whether Israel's anti-missile technology would withstand the onslaught. Thankfully, Israeli defense systems, including the Arrow 2 and Arrow 3 anti-missile systems, proved to be effective.
Interestingly, the Iranian missiles seemed to target the Nevatim Air Force Base in the south, where all of Israel's F-35s are stationed. Thankfully, only minor damage was done to the base, and it was operational within a few hours. This, among other details, raises questions about the source of the intelligence behind the attack.
In the midst of this, U.S. President Biden was in the situation room, monitoring the unfolding events. The timing of his presence is curious, given that we had intelligence suggesting an attack was imminent. Even more curiously, Biden made an effort to prevent Israel from retaliating against the attack, an intervention that seems out of place.
This is part of a broader pattern with Biden. He constantly tells various countries and groups "don't"—don't strike U.S. bases, don't attack Israel, don't counterattack Iran. This approach seems to stem from a desire to orchestrate events in the Middle East, but it has detrimental potential implications.
Right now, the question is whether Israel will retaliate and, if so, what form that retaliation will take. There are many potential targets within Iran, and Israel has the capability to strike effectively. However, any retaliatory action could potentially escalate the situation, and this is a concern shared by many around the world.
Please join me in praying for Israel and for all the fellow believers around the world. As we watch these events unfold, remember to “Rejoice always, pray constantly, in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Messiah Yeshua” (1 Thess 5:16-18 TLV).
Shabbat Shalom to all of you.
