May 13, 2024 | Messianic World Update | LIVE from Shavuot

Shalom everyone. I’m Monte Judah from Lion and Lamb Ministries. Welcome to another Messianic World Update. We find ourselves on May 31, 2024, with news that has everyone's attention: the conviction of Donald Trump by a New York jury. The confusion surrounding what he's been found guilty of persists, as no broken law has been clearly identified. Many suggest that this is politically motivated persecution, a sentiment echoed by Republicans and legal experts alike. The Democrats have managed to label Donald Trump as a convicted felon, a move that has caused significant outrage in the country.

We are now at a point where political differences have escalated into deep-seated hatred. Trump supporters and Democrats appear to be on opposite sides, a division that is harmful to our nation. We are witnessing the seeds of our own demise as our leaders fail to unite us for the collective good. Instead, we seem to be on the path of self-destruction, a development that aligns with end-time prophecies.

In other news, Benny Gantz, a member of the War Cabinet, has filed paperwork to dissolve the Knesset and bring about new elections in Israel. This move, however, is likely to fall flat, as Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition continues to hold the majority of the votes.

The conflict in Rafah continues. An Israeli strike resulted in the deaths of two Hamas terrorists but also led to a series of unfortunate events. An arsenal of rockets and missiles hidden in the same building exploded, causing collateral damage to a nearby Palestinian refugee camp. This incident has sparked international outrage, with many blaming Israel for the civilian casualties.

In other developments, Egypt's involvement in supporting Hamas has come to light, with the discovery of over 50 tunnels connecting the two regions. This revelation has complicated the situation further.

On the U.S. front, a temporary pier built along the Gaza coast for humanitarian aid was destroyed in a freak storm, but plans are underway to rebuild it.

Lastly, Iran's continued progress in enriching uranium is a cause for concern. Today, Iran is a nuclear threshold nation, capable of producing three nuclear weapons in a matter of days. This development has alarmed many nations, including Britain and France.

In this volatile climate, we continue to pray and hope for peace. As believers, we know that God is in control and will protect Israel from any harm. As the prophet says, "God declares the end of the exile,"  and we await that day with anticipation. Shabbat Shalom to all of you.
