July 5th, 2024 | Messianic World Update | Biden vs. Trump, Israel's Defense, and Middle East Turmoil

Shalom everyone, I'm Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries. Welcome to another edition of Messianic World Update. Today's date is July 5th of the year 2024, and here's the news for this week.

Last week, in the aftermath of Joe Biden's terrible debate with Donald Trump, I made the statement that we are getting ready to watch what the God of Israel does to a U.S. President who threatens Israel. This week, we've seen tremendous turmoil for Joe Biden, the White House, and the Democrats. The U.S. Media has now clearly turned against Joe Biden. They're not protecting him anymore. What's in question is his mental acuity, his competency to lead, and his ability to beat Donald Trump in the next election.

The Democrats are now scrambling to find a substitute for Joe Biden, trying to sidestep Vice President Kamala Harris with the Democratic Convention looming. The Republicans and Donald Trump are quietly watching all of this unfold. I believe the turmoil has come to Joe Biden and the Democrats because, while Joe Biden has been saying he's supporting Israel, the evidence suggests otherwise.

In April, the Iranians launched an ICBM and drone attack against Israel. More than a hundred ICBMs were launched, but the combination of the U.S. military, Jordanian forces, and Israel’s defenses knocked them down. However, Israel's response was limited due to Joe Biden blocking a massive counterattack and threatening to withdraw all U.S. support for Israel if they retaliated against Iran. This week, the White House brought this story up again, claiming it as an example of Joe Biden's foreign policy skills.

In my view, this exemplifies incompetence on the part of the president. For him to protect Iran is utter foreign policy madness. This has set the stage for imminent threats of a regional war for Israel. The question for Israel is whether to preemptively attack Hezbollah, which is worse than Hamas. Iran has announced full support for Hezbollah, and an Iranian general has expressed eagerness to launch more ICBMs at Israel.

Iran is now openly discussing the possibility of building nuclear weapons. They have concluded that the only way to successfully defeat Israel is with nuclear weapons. Israel may also have to consider using nuclear weapons to defend itself. This week, former Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman stated that Israel must use "all tools" available in defense against Hezbollah and Iran.

Israel took out another major Hezbollah leader in Lebanon, resulting in hundreds of rockets being fired into Israel. The last 48 hours have seen the Golan Heights and the Galilee area on fire and with much damage. The IDF is prepared for an offensive against Hezbollah, which could happen before the end of this month. All-out war with Hezbollah would have serious consequences for Israel, disrupting normal life and putting the nation in emergency status.

In Gaza, the IDF continues to root out Hamas, discovering an extensive underground tunnel system. The length of the Hamas tunnel network discovered so far is larger than the London Metro system and the NYC subway system! Hamas is seizing aid meant for Palestinians, confirming no mass humanitarian disaster is taking place. Negotiations for hostages and a possible ceasefire are ongoing, but Israel has low expectations for positive results.

This week, elections in the UK and France resulted in landslide victories for opponents of the incumbents, who were critical of Israel and supported Hamas. This may be the God of Israel showing his hand in those nations.
