November 7, 2025 | Messianic World Update | Hezbollah Threatens War, U.S. Political Shifts, and Israel’s Ongoing Struggle

Shalom, everyone, I’m Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries, bringing you the latest Messianic World Update. Today’s date is Friday, November 7th, 2025.

This week’s update is filled with sobering developments in Israel and the nations. As always, we look at the news from a biblical and prophetic perspective—understanding that the events unfolding in our world today are aligning with what the prophets of old told us would come to pass.

The Ongoing Crisis in Gaza

More bodies have been returned to Israel from Gaza this week, yet six still remain unreturned. These are believed to be primarily IDF soldiers taken on October 7th, though some were civilians. One of the most recent bodies identified was Joshua Mollel, a Tanzanian agricultural student whose murder on October 7th, at Kibbutz Nahal Oz, was filmed live by Hamas terrorists as it happened.

The testimonies from returning hostages continue to reveal unimaginable cruelty—sexual humiliation, beatings, starvation, and attempted forced conversions to Islam. It’s a grim reminder that Hamas remains unrepentant and deceitful, manipulating the cease-fire for their own ends.

Meanwhile, the U.S. and allied nations are attempting to organize a stabilization force in Gaza. Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar have volunteered to participate, but Israel is rightfully cautious. Turkey and Qatar have historically supported Hamas, and Israel is determined to ensure Gaza never again becomes a base for terrorism against the Jewish people.

The central issue remains: disarmament of Hamas—something no one seems to have a clear plan for, and Hamas itself outright rejects.

Hezbollah Threatens War Once More

In Lebanon, Hezbollah has issued an open letter to world leaders declaring they will not disarm, will not negotiate with Israel, and are ready to reignite war. Israel, in response, has begun dropping bunker-buster bombs on Hezbollah’s tunnel networks and supply caches in southern Lebanon.

Although the Lebanese army was tasked years ago with disarming Hezbollah, it’s a futile task—Hezbollah outnumbers them and wields greater firepower.

Israel’s northern border is once again under heightened alert, and this tension bears all the signs of a coming confrontation. As Scripture tells us, the enemies of Israel gather on every side, yet the Lord will be her defense (Psalm 83).

Political Upheaval: Anti-Israel Voices Rise

In the United States, New York City has elected Zohran Mamdani, an openly anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian Marxist, as its new mayor. He takes office January 1st. The concerning part is not only his ideology but how comfortably such views are now tolerated—even celebrated—in major American cities with large Jewish populations.

Israel has long viewed New York as a modern-day Babylon for the Jewish diaspora. Just as in ancient times, some of Judah returned to the Land, while many stayed behind in Babylon for the comfort of business and home. The question now is: will American Jews heed the call to return home to Israel, or remain in a place increasingly hostile to their faith and identity?

Anti-Israel Factions Within the Right

Disturbingly, even the American conservative movement is not immune. Recently, Tucker Carlson hosted Nick Fuentes, a Holocaust denier and outspoken anti-Israel activist. The interview sparked outrage—rightly so—but also exposed a growing faction of anti-Israel sentiment within the Republican Party.

The Heritage Foundation, once a staunch defender of Israel, is now facing internal resignations over its handling of this controversy. Even figures like J.D. Vance, a possible future leader of the Republican Party, are hedging their support for Israel in public forums.

This convergence of the far left and far right against Israel is now being described as the “horseshoe effect.” Both extremes, though opposite in ideology, bend toward the same anti-Israel position.

Prophetically, this reminds us that in the last days, all nations will gather against Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:3). We are witnessing the early signs of that reality today.

A Call to Prayer

As believers in Messiah, our response must be rooted in prayer and faithfulness. Pray for the people of Israel—especially the families grieving the return of their loved ones’ bodies, and those still waiting. Pray for wisdom for Israel’s leaders as they navigate impossible choices surrounded by enemies.

And pray for those within the body of Messiah who must discern truth in a world that increasingly calls evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20).

Here at Lion and Lamb Ministries, we continue to bring you updates grounded in Scripture, helping you watch and pray as we see prophecy unfold before our eyes.
