October 31, 2025 | Messianic World Update | Israel’s Covenant Land and Trump’s Misstep Over Annexation
Shalom, everyone
I’m Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries, bringing you the latest Messianic World Update.
Today’s date is Friday, October 31, 2025.
The Ceasefire That Isn’t
Once again, Hamas has violated the ceasefire in Gaza—launching attacks on IDF soldiers that left one Israeli reservist dead. Israel responded forcefully, striking back at Hamas positions and killing over 100 Palestinians. Despite this, the U.S. insists the ceasefire is “holding.”
Friends, this is déjà vu. Every week we’re told the same thing—a renewed ceasefire, a fresh round of violations, and continued chaos. It’s a cycle that reveals not peace, but deception. Hamas is playing games—burying and exhuming bodies for propaganda, refusing to return remains, and violating the terms of the agreement.
CENTCOM and Israeli surveillance confirm that Hamas is not observing peace—they’re regrouping for the next round of conflict. The so-called “hudna” (temporary truce) is not peace; it’s a pause for rearming.
Regional Conflict Continues
Israel continues to strike Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, targeting tunnels and weapons depots. The Shin Bet recently stopped a planned terror attack in northern Samaria. From Gaza to Judea, Samaria, and Lebanon, the so-called “peace” is a façade.
President Trump claims the world backs his peace plan, but only the U.S., Israel, and Hamas have signed on. Other nations are standing by, and the plan’s second phase—Hamas disarming and foreign troops maintaining peace—isn’t happening. Hamas refuses to disarm, and no Arab nation has agreed to send peacekeepers. Even Turkey’s offer was rejected by Israel due to its ties to Hamas.
Internal Struggles in Israel
Tensions within Israel are also high. The ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) communities have planned massive protests in Jerusalem, opposing mandatory IDF service for their students. Meanwhile, violence by a few Jewish settlers in Samaria has created additional challenges for Israel’s international reputation.
While Israel strives for righteousness, not every citizen’s action reflects that. We must continue to pray for justice and restraint within Israel’s borders.
The Annexation Debate
Now to one of the week’s biggest developments—the annexation of Judea and Samaria. The U.S. government, including President Trump and Secretary Rubio, has expressed strong opposition, threatening to withdraw support if Israel moves forward. Yet, most of the Knesset and the Israeli people support annexation.
If areas east of Jerusalem are annexed, Israel will surround the Temple Mount and Mount of Olives, reclaiming sovereignty over its biblical heartland. This is more than politics—it’s prophecy unfolding.
The Media’s Role and Trump’s Misstep
Time Magazine’s recent article misrepresented President Trump’s comments, releasing an interview after Israel’s Knesset vote to stir division between Trump and Netanyahu. But Israel remains steady. As MK Simcha Rothman said, “Now is the time to secure sovereignty in Judea and Samaria.”
Trump’s own words revealed a critical misunderstanding. He said he “gave his word to Arab countries” that annexation would not happen. But as Tania Koenig insightfully wrote, Trump has made promises that are not his to make.
The land of Israel is not America’s to bargain over—it is God’s covenant land. By promising what he does not own, the President overstepped into divine territory.
A Covenant, Not a Contract
Israel’s claim to the land is not political—it’s biblical. The covenant God made with Abraham joined the people and the land inseparably. Foreign leaders may see Israel as negotiable ground, but God calls it holy inheritance.
Trump views the Middle East as a deal to broker, but covenants are not deals. They are eternal bonds. And when nations dispute God’s promises, they invite judgment.
What the Prophets Say
The prophets warned of this exact situation. In Joel 3:1–2, God declares that He will judge the nations for scattering Israel and dividing His land. Ezekiel 34:13 affirms that He will bring His people back to the mountains of Israel—Judea and Samaria—and settle them there.
What we see today is prophecy coming to life before our eyes. Nations are gathering in dispute over Israel’s covenant land, and God’s word is being fulfilled exactly as He said.
Looking Ahead
Israel remains calm, deliberate, and resolute. Despite external pressures, she moves forward toward her biblical destiny. The United States may mean well, but this peace plan is faltering—and promises made outside God’s will cannot stand.
Let us continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for Israel’s leaders, for President Trump, and for the Lord’s will to prevail.
And friends—if this broadcast blesses you, please consider supporting Lion and Lamb Ministries so that we can continue sharing truth and prophetic insight freely with the body of Messiah.
Until next time,
Shabbat Shalom to all of you.
