Shalom, everyone, I’m Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries, bringing you the latest Messianic World Update. Today’s date is Friday, February 27th of the year 2026.
This week the headlines are not just political—they are prophetic.
The latest negotiations with Iran were completed in Oman. U.S. representatives met with Iranian officials regarding their nuclear ambitions. Iran presented what they called a proposal to avoid conflict. However, based on everything we know historically and prophetically, it is very difficult to believe that Iran will ever agree to the level of dismantling that would truly remove the threat.
Iran’s regime has never demonstrated good faith in these matters. Their nuclear program continues. Their ballistic missile development continues. Their support for terror proxies across the Middle East continues. And notably, those issues were not meaningfully addressed in the latest discussions.
The president has stated clearly: if no acceptable deal is reached, military action will follow. The question before us is not whether conflict is possible—but whether it is now inevitable.
From a military standpoint, the United States has positioned overwhelming assets in the region. Aircraft carriers in the Mediterranean and Arabian Sea, submarines armed with Tomahawk missiles, advanced F-22 fighters, F-35 squadrons, strategic bombers capable of bunker-busting operations, all indicate readiness.
Israel is also on its highest level of alert. Citizens have been warned to be prepared to reach bomb shelters within minutes. Airlines are reducing service. Embassies worldwide are on heightened alert for potential retaliation.
If Iran responds with mass missile launches, Israel will respond in a way Prime Minister Netanyahu has described as “unimaginable.” We must not forget that Israel possesses capabilities not publicly discussed. The stakes are extraordinarily high.
There are also troubling reports that Iran may be seeking nuclear assistance from nations such as Pakistan or North Korea, and possibly advanced anti-ship weapons from China. Whether these rumors are credible or not, they underscore the seriousness of the moment.
Interestingly, AI models were even asked to predict possible timing of a strike—many pointing to early March. That brings us directly to the Feast of Purim, which falls on March 3rd this year.
Purim commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people from Persian destruction in the days of Esther. Ancient Persia is modern-day Iran. The parallels are striking. In the story of Purim, Haman plotted the annihilation of the Jewish people. Instead, God reversed the decree.
Is history preparing to echo itself? We must watch carefully. The Lord is sovereign over nations.
This week also included the president’s State of the Union message, which revealed deep divisions within our nation. We are witnessing exactly what Yeshua warned about—kingdom against kingdom. Not just nations fighting externally, but internal struggles for power and ideology.
We also saw Ambassador Mike Huckabee address anti-Zionist rhetoric in a meeting with media commentator, Tucker Carlson. The issue of “Greater Israel” was raised. Let me clarify something important: the biblical promise of the land to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is rooted in Scripture. It is not racism. It is covenant.
Genesis 12 tells us that those who bless Israel will be blessed, and those who curse Israel will be cursed. That is not political ideology—that is divine decree.
The concept of Greater Israel is ultimately prophetic, pointing toward the Messianic Kingdom when Yeshua will reign from Jerusalem. The nations may argue about borders today, but Scripture defines God’s eternal purposes.
We must be careful as believers not to be swept away by media narratives that distort biblical truth. Zionism, at its core, is simply the belief that God keeps His promises.
As we look at rising global tensions, political upheaval, and moral confusion within our own country, we should not respond in fear—but in prayer.
Pray for our troops.
Pray for Israel.
Pray for wisdom for our leaders.
Pray for repentance in our nation.
These are sobering days. But they are also days that remind us that prophecy is unfolding before our eyes. The Lord is not surprised. He is not absent. He is preparing the world for the return of the Messiah.
Stay watchful. Stay prayerful. Stay grounded in the Word.
Shabbat Shalom to all of you.
