March 22nd, 2024 | Messianic World Update | Middle East Developments and Prophetic Implications

Shalom! I'm Monte Judah with Lion and Lamb Ministries, and I welcome everyone to another edition of Messianic World Update. Today’s date is March 22nd of the year 2024, and I'd like to share with you some of the recent developments in the Middle East.

First, Hamas terrorists are attempting to reestablish themselves in northern Gaza, particularly in the Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. The Israeli forces have responded with raids, taking out several key leaders from the Islamic Jihad and Hamas and capturing over six hundred terrorists. The civilians are being moved away from the hospital as Israel prepares to go back through and clean out the area.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, is making his sixth trip to the Middle East, where he will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The U.S. is pushing for a resolution at the U.N. Security Council for an immediate and sustainable ceasefire, linked to the release of hostages. The ceasefire is speculated to last for about six weeks, during which negotiations will be underway to secure the release of 40 to 50 hostages.

Despite the tense situation, Israel has stated that they will continue their efforts against Hamas, with or without U.S. support. The Israeli leaders remain determined, and despite a U.S.-led ceasefire resolution, they will continue to carry out strategic strikes and assassinations.

In another development, Senator Chuck Schumer has been critical of Netanyahu and the Israeli government. Interestingly, it appears that his speech was coordinated with the White House, lending support to Joe Biden's stance.

The U.S. administration seems to think they know how to handle the situation better than Israel. However, I believe that the President should focus more on the issues within the United States rather than trying to dictate how Israel should conduct its affairs.

In a recent poll, 73% of Americans deemed the Hamas attack on October 7th unacceptable, and 89% back Israel in its defense. However, 34% of those polled did not like how the conflict was being managed. This, I believe, is largely due to the U.S. interference and Palestinian propaganda that the U.S. media has been supporting.

In the midst of all this, Israel has been conducting special operations in Rafah with the help of U.S. intelligence. The U.S. intelligence agency has been assisting Israel in its operations against Hamas, despite the U.S. administration's position on the issue.

As we move forward, it's crucial to keep sight of the larger picture. The conflict we're witnessing is deeply rooted in religious beliefs and territorial claims, particularly concerning the Temple Mount.
