I'm Monte Judah with Lion of Lamb Ministries. Today is July 19th, 2024, and here's the news for this week. The past week has been dramatic in the United States. As you know, Former President Donald Trump narrowly escaped an assassination attempt by a sniper at a Pennsylvania rally. Secret Service agents surrounded him and tried to keep him under cover; however, President Trump was able to stand up on his own and raise his fist in defiance with blood streaming down the side of his face—a powerful image that will go down in history. Miraculously, President Trump was not hit, and many have acknowledged that he was saved by the grace of God.

At the Republican National Convention, President Trump's reputation soared. He named Senator J.D. Vance from Ohio as his vice-presidential candidate, bringing a new generation of conservative leadership.

On the Democratic side, Biden's support is crumbling. Leading Democrats are calling for him to withdraw from the race. Polls indicate a likely landslide victory for Trump. Biden's efforts to hold a virtual convention were blocked, and now the nomination process is in limbo. There's growing discussion about Biden's competency and whether he should step down as president.

In the Middle East, Biden's interference has hampered Israel's efforts to defend itself against Hamas and Hezbollah. He has blocked Israel from taking preemptive strikes and slowed down weapons shipments. Biden's presidency is now in jeopardy, and Vice President Kamala Harris may soon step in.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to speak before Congress and may meet with President Trump, signaling a strong future relationship. In Gaza, Israel has set clear red lines for a ceasefire and hostage release, but hope for the hostages is waning. Israel recently launched an attack in Gaza, striking a high-ranking Hamas leader, Mohammad Deif. The announcement from the Ministry of Defense in Israel is that they are as certain as they can be that Deif did not survive the attack.

Hezbollah continues to launch rockets into Israel, and there are concerns about more sophisticated attacks. Israel is preparing for a possible offensive in Lebanon. Meanwhile, the Israeli Knesset has blocked any recognition of a Palestinian state, and Biden's revival of the two-state solution has failed.

The International Court of Justice is expected to rule against Israel's claim to East Jerusalem and the Biblical Heartland, Judea, and Samaria, also known as the West Bank. A drone attack in Tel Aviv, claimed by the Houthis, has raised new security concerns.

In conclusion, U.S. leadership is in disarray, and the Biden Administration is impotent. This weak leadership could embolden Israel's enemies. The volatility in the Middle East is high, and the potential for an all-out war is a serious concern.
